OUR WILDLIFE PROGRAMS
Wisconsin cranberry marshes are home to a variety of wildlife, including sandhill cranes, the common loon, wood ducks, deer, a variety of fish and more. Our growers, which are located throughout central and northern Wisconsin, value the different species that make their homes in the marshes and surrounding reservoirs and forests.
In fact, some growers have worked U.S. Geological Survey on its effort to survey common loon nesting habits in Wisconsin, and others work proactively to maintain habitats for other wildlife.
